Monumental light installations within the abandoned spaces of the Power Plant of Inota
In one of Hungary’s most distinctive industrial sites, contemporary light art and industrial heritage come together to create a world that is at once futuristic, raw and timeless. Among the dark, rugged industrial structures, light, sound, and moving image redraw the monumental architecture of the power plant, transforming its former halls and installation spaces into new audiovisual landscapes.
In 2027, the exhibition returns with site-specific works by international artists, filling the power plant’s extraordinary spaces. The programme will once again feature installations that respond to the unique character of the power plant and the distinctive qualities of its spaces.

Family day at the Power Plant
In 2027, we will once again welcome visitors to a Family Day in the unique industrial spaces of LIGHT FACTORY. We are preparing interactive programmes, creative workshops, community experiences and plenty of other exciting activities for visitors of all ages.
